Modifications to the D-4 And D-8 Models Of the Directorate General For Trade And Investment

On June 1, 2008 the Resolution of April 3, 2008 of the Directorate General for Trade and Investment will come into force. This modifies the Resolution of February 21, 2002 concerning the models D-4 (annual report relating to the development of investment in Spanish companies with foreign participation in capital and branches) and D-8 (annual report relating to the development of investment abroad).

Firstly, the forms will be replaced to widen and optimise the information on foreign investments held in the aforementioned models, being adapted to the recommendations of international organisations (IMF and OECD). Secondly, steps will be taken to facilitate the telematic submission of declarations. Hence the Resolution will include the forms D-4 and D-8, the instructions for each form and the necessary coding tables to fill in the forms.
