Monereo Meyer Marinel-lo Abogados Advise the Swedish Bank SEB On The Investment Carried Out In a Spanish Logistics Park

mmmm Abogados has given counsel to the ImmoPortfolio Target Return Fund, belonging to SEB Asset Management, in the buying of two logistics buildings located in the Ciempozuelos Logispark© of Madrid. The seller is a company which is part of the Coperfil Real Estate group which specialises, among other things, in logistics parks. The Ciempozuelos Logispark© has available a surface area of 80.244 m2 of which 40.000 m2 corresponds to the investments made by the ImmoPortfolio Target Return Fund. The parties have agreed not to disclose the value of the transaction.

mmmm Abogados have been advising SEB Asset Management for many years by means of their founding partner Stefan Meyer, in the buying, operating, administration and sale of property situated in Spain belonging to the set of investments held by SEB Asset Management. The last operation carried out was at the beginning of 2007 and consisted of the sale of a consortium of 3 commercial centres for a sum of 116 million Euros.

The management of the advice was carried out by the partner and the person in charge of the Real Estate Department in the Barcelona mmmm office, Mr. Philipp Kirchheim. Ms Mónica Regaño Aguirre from the Madrid mmmm office was the associated lawyer. The person working on behalf of Coperfil Real Estate was the lawyer Silvia Ramos.

Together with mmmm Abogados, the Schmack Group acted as intermediaries and CVO acted as technical advisors.

Since the beginning of 2008 and following a number of years of inactivity, especially due to the increase in prices, operations in the real estate market have increased for purposes other than residential. Experts predict a rise in this sector for the second semester of 2008.
